That’s right. PVC is a highly recyclable product unlike any other single-ply roof material. These other roof systems are much more likely to end up in a landfill, versus a PVC membrane. It’s just one more way that a Duro-Last PVC membrane fits within the “green” roofing standards.
Duro-Last roofing has a program in place where the customer and contractor pay for shipping to the nearest Duro-Last manufacturing facility. From there the roof is typically sent to Oscoda Plastics and is used to produce commercial flooring.
